Two New Cousins

Published by Joe under Uncategorized

So here’s a story too good to make up.  My cousin Jonathan and his wife Alicia (sorry if I spelled it wrong) are planning to adopt a little boy from Guatemala.  Brady is a cute little guy with a sweet smile.  Brady has a crib-mate in his orphanage - Quinton.  Jonathan asked if he could adopt both boys, but found out Quinton was already spoken for - by a family in Frankfort, KY (20 minutes from his house).  Jonathan’s mom asked me if I knew the other adopting parents - Jo Carrol and Paul.  I laughed and said, “Yes, she’s my cousin.”  So as it turns out, two of my cousins, from different sides of the family and only a few miles away from each other, are adopting two little boys from the same orphanage in the same country at the same time.  Providence is pretty cool.   Check out their picture - I dig the attire.

The new banner on the website was a picture taken by Tracy last week.  It’s our tree in the front yard.  She did a great job.

Earthquake? What Earthquake?

Published by Joe under Updates

Grandpa Ron called just after 7:30 this morning to ask if we were OK, and I was a little confused; we didn’t even know there had been an earthquake.  Slept right through it.

What Happened to the Site?

Published by Joe under Uncategorized

Well, I broke it.  Actually it was only kind of broken, but it gave me an excuse to play.  All of the old posts and comments are archived and some may make their way back here.  I’ve decided to expand the uses of this site to more than just infrequent thoughts.
